Activating TFTP Client on Vista

INTRO:

TFTP client is a non-GUI file transfer software. based on command line interface (CLI), tftp client usefull for transfering file to embeded device such as router, access point, multi-media player. etc.

HOW TO ACTIVATING:

Generally on linux OSes include tftp client on default, on Vista you have to activating prior to using tftp client.Step-by-step activating vista tftp client;

  • press windows logo on your keyboard.
  • start menu will pop-up. on the text box (look at picture below);
  • type "feature" without quote then press enter
  • after loading, new window menu will pop-up called "Program and Feature". (look at the picture below)
  • click "Turn Windows feature on or off, loading.... a menu like this pop-up;
  • click the tik mark box "TFTP Client" to activate it.

The tftp client on windows vista have been activated. for using it, type "cmd" without quote from command prompt.
